System Composition and Working Principle
- Liquid CO₂ Tank: Stores liquid CO₂, providing raw material for the system.
- Pressurization System: Transports liquid CO₂ from the storage tank to the dry ice cleaning control cabinet, ensuring that CO₂ remains in liquid form under high pressure.
- Dry Ice Cleaning Control Cabinet: Controls the cleaning process, adjusts the spraying parameters, and ensures effective cleaning results.
- Cleaning Nozzles: Through specially designed nozzles, liquid CO₂ is sprayed at a speed of 50–300 m/s. The liquid CO₂ condenses into snowflake-like dry ice microcrystals (with a particle size of approximately 10–200 μm) at the nozzle.
- Industrial Robots: The nozzles are mounted on industrial robots to achieve automated cleaning, improving cleaning efficiency and consistency.
Working Process
- Liquid CO₂ Transportation: Liquid CO₂ is transported to the dry ice cleaning control cabinet via the pressurization system.
- Spraying into Snowflakes: In the control cabinet, liquid CO₂ is sprayed at high speed through special nozzles, condensing into snowflake-like dry ice microcrystals.
- Cleaning Effect: The dry ice microcrystals are carried to the surface of the exterior parts to be cleaned by compressed air, producing a micro-explosion effect that removes surface contaminants.
- Automated Control: The nozzles are mounted on industrial robots, which automatically start and stop the nozzles according to the production rhythm. When no workpieces pass through, the nozzles stop spraying, saving CO₂ consumption.
